The saints in the exposition of Sacred Art works

On the premises of the former Dominican convent chapel an interactive exposition of the museum is currently running. The walls of the restored monastery and its mysterious cellars remember the times when the monks, who have given their strict vows, lived there. During the workshop, you learn about the saints portrayed in the exposition of Sacred art: Dominic John of Nepomuk, St. Michael the Archangel, St. Casimir, St. Francis; the most interesting events in their lives are depicted, the facts why and how they became saints are revealed; it is also explained what their individual attributes are and what they mean. In the practical part of the session the portraits of saints are drawn, the puzzles are solved and the winners are awarded.

The session takes place at the exposition of Sacred art works in the chapel of Dominican convent at Trakai Island castle. Duration - 1 hour.
Trukmė – 1 valanda.
It takes place all year round during the opening hours of the Sacred art exposition (registration in advance)
Minimum number of participants – 5 persons, maximum- 30 persons.
Educational session and visiting the museum exposition - 4 Lt/1,16 Eur for student, 8 Lt/ 2,32 Eur for adult (having a ticket to visit museum exposition – 3 Lt/0,87 Eur for student and 6 Lt/1,74 Eur for adult).
